FOTAS acoustic sensing system consists of three parts. The first part is the analysis unit where the reflected lights’ amplitudes and rates of shift in light signals are analysed. The second part is the server where artificial intelligence processes the data gathered by the analyser. This part is also where the user interface is. The third part, is the fiber sensing cable itself, which can be connected to the analyser from one or both ends.
