Securing a Key Government Campus

The Kenya Parliament campus is one of the country's most important public institutions. The FOTAS Fiber Optic Sensing System was installed in order to strengthen the perimeter security of the campus.

Within the scope of the project, a buried intrusion detection application was implemented along an approximately 600 meter long perimeter line.

Within the scope of the project, a buried intrusion detection application was implemented along an approximately 600 meter long perimeter line.

Cable Laid Underground

The fiber optic sensing cable was laid underground along the perimeter of the campus.

Protected Against Sabotage

Burying the cable protects it against external factors and prevents it from being sabotaged.

Intrusion Detection

The system is intended to detect unauthorized entry attempts towards the parliament campus.
